This sounds like an excellent discussion for any caregiver!  This information came from an email from Senior Grapevine.

This informational workshop is offered free of charge to caregivers.  People who care for family and/or friends are likely to experience a wide variety of emotions and stress as a result of caregiving.  A loved one with a chronic illness or debilitating disease may need extensive care and resources.  Caregivers may neglect their own health and become ill.  Feeling overwhelmed can develop into a way of being.  There never seems to be enough time for oneself.

We cannot give quality care to another if we do not take care of ourselves.  This workshop will identify ways to get help and provide tools for self care.

Please call (704) 819-2808 or e-mail silverbirches@windstream.net to register for the workshop and include the number of people who will be attending.  Thank you.
