As we age, exercise becomes more essential. It’s vital for overall health and well-being to maintain as active a lifestyle as possible. While it may be challenging for seniors who struggle with mobility, there are still exercise options available to help boost strength, resistance, and flexibility.

Always check first with the senior’s primary physician to receive recommendations and approval for an elderly exercise program that is safe and will benefit the senior the most. When they first try the exercises, bear in mind that even as little as a few minutes each day, repeated several times throughout the day, can have a great impact on their health. Motivating your senior loved one to begin and stick with an exercise program is the key to success.
