Caregiver Training

Providing the exceptional respite care NC families can trust is something our clients expect. We know exceptional care comes from thorough training. A knowledgeable caregiver is more confident in his/her role and can provide the high level of care needed to assist our clients with day-to-day needs and to also provide them with the comfort, support, and reliable aid they deserve. The ability to provide the best possible care lies in our ability to ensure that our already highly experienced caregivers receive the ongoing training necessary to keep their skills sharp.

At Comprehensive Home Care, we require all of our caregivers to be certified nursing assistants, a requirement that goes above and beyond NC state requirements. This ensures that from the beginning our caregivers have a higher education level and are better equipped to provide the best care.

We also use the Alzheimer’s Association to provide caregivers with comprehensive training on Alzheimer’s and dementia care techniques and best practices.
