Care Team

Providing Home Care Support While Fostering Senior Independence

Hiring a home care service provider is a big decision that involves placing your trust in the skill and experience of strangers. At Comprehensive Home Care, our first step is to remove the word “strangers” from that scenario. Our senior home care services team is dedicated to getting to know each client and his or her family so we can develop the most comprehensive plan of care, and so our clients can feel as though they’re being cared for by a member of their own family.

The Home Care Services Seniors Need from Caregivers They Can Trust

Experience and satisfaction are our first priorities when caring for your loved ones. All of our caregivers are licensed certified nursing assistants (CNAs) in good standing in the state of North Carolina. This licensure is not a requirement for North Carolina home care agencies, but it is our own personal requirement for providing high-quality care. Having obtained a higher certification, passed a stringent state exam, and secured licensure means that our caregivers are more knowledgeable, confident, and better equipped to provide care.

Our caregivers are also supervised by a registered nurse (RN). The RNs provide care management, guidance from a professional nursing perspective, and supervision of the caregivers and client care plans to ensure that our caregivers are maintaining our high standards and our clients are receiving the best care services possible.

All of our CNAs also receive education on:

  • Infection control and bloodborne pathogens
  • Maintaining a sanitary environment
  • Alzheimer’s and dementia care
  • Safe body mechanics
  • HIPAA

We also provide our caregivers with ongoing training and education based upon the specific care needs of each client the CNA will be working with, whether it is pediatric training, tube feeding, or the process of Parkinson’s disease, to name a few. Visit our Caregiver Training page to learn more.

We know that you put an enormous amount of trust in our caregivers, and we honor that trust by assuring that all our caregivers meet our high standards. Each caregiver must pass thorough background and reference checks, as well as an in-depth personal interview before being offered a care services position.

We are committed to providing the highest quality home care via top-tier caregivers who are like members of the family. To learn more about our care services team and our wide range of in-home care services in North Carolina, give us a call at 703-333-5214 or fill out our online contact form.
